There’s new competition in town for breakfast folks. Dairy Queen in Anson started serving breakfast on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Let me just say that this is not your typical fast food breakfast. Owner Bill Hall decided to open his store for breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:30 am Wednesday through Sunday. The items are made to order and portion sizes are very large. From traditional breakfast items such as eggs, toast, meat, and hash browns to chicken fried steak, there is surely something on the menu that will catch your eye. The menu also includes very reasonably priced omelets, biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, and French toast. They also have breakfast on-the-go items like breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Dairy Queen will also be offering Peet’s Coffee for you coffee drinkers out there. So load the family up and head on down for a new DQ treat.
