Howdy, my name is Kasstin Willis. I'm seventeen years old and a sophomore at Anson High School. I'm a twin, her name is Kandice I have two older brothers and a younger sister. Family means everything to me. I recently became an aunt, I now have a niece her name is Sophia, and I have a boyfriend named Darin. I'm an animal lover. I enjoy being around others and anything artistic.
When I was a sixth grader in middle school, I fell off a roof and was later diagnosed with dystonia and CRPS in my right leg making it hard for me to get around. When I fell off the roof I landed on a chain link fence and hung by my right leg. From what the doctors say when I hung by my leg, it pulled my spine and caused nerve damage in my hip and upper thigh. I live in pain, a pain so strong it's almost hard to bare and have had many surgeries. Doctors say there is no cure for either of my diagnoses, but I'm staying positive because I believe God is healing me in time.
Due to my condition I have developed the love of writing. I had to give up my sports, but that's okay because I believe God has better plans for me than I ever dreamed of. Some may say I have a big problem, but I just say I'm on a mission for God. I was hand-picked to make a difference, and I hope to become the change I want to see in the world through my writing. I want to touch lives with my writing and through motivational speaking. That's what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to be someone who lets everyone know that there's someone on this earth that cares. My articles will be mostly inspiration, so if you need some motivation or encouragement I'm here every week, right here in the Anson newspaper.
